SOE

This relation is used to denote the associative or dissociative aspects of sense, that is, the notions of " with / together" and " without/ not having with". It may further be classified into two sub-relations.

  1. Sociative (Explicit) Relation2 (SOE) Here the indeclinables denoting" with"(e.g saha, saddhiÑ) or those denoting "without" (e.g. aññatra, vinā) are explicitly used.

Puttena saha gacchati = ... goes with the son.

  • Puttena ——> saha (SOE)

Puttena vinā gacchati =... goes without the son.

  • Puttena ——> vinā (SOE)
